google released paper and blog that contained false claims such as “deep learning dominated M5 competition.” After this was highlighted on social media they have now amended both the paper and blog. It strikes me as odd that someone would make claims about performance of google model even though the code and experiments were not released and thus are neither reproducible nor can be verified.
