That’s not quite correct, it is proven that NO framework can guarantee exact conditional coverage. It is mathematically impossible.

But there are plenty of conformal prediction models that can provide excellent conditional coverage bases on groups etc.

In fact bayesianism can not guarantee any coverage whether it is marginal or conditional.

There no silver bullet, but conformal prediction is a million times better than alternatives like bayesianism.
