yes you edited out your claim that it is Olympiad level question. Why not just agree with the fact they are simplistic problems, it doesn’t automatically mean you failed them as there are lots of other factors at interviews including ones behind candidate control.

If you can’t agree that these are simplistic problems on the other side it says more about your skills rather than interview process.
